I’m so excited to finally share these branding photos captured by ! We spent so much time talking before this shoot, and she truly captured who I am and not just what I do.
A few things I shared with her, that you’ll see woven into my brand:
I’m a Christian, and everything I create flows from the love of Jesus Christ.
I’m also Filipino, and that’s such a huge part of my identity. The warm, earthy tones you see in my Super 8 films come from the same colors that remind me of the Philippines and some of my favorite childhood memories. I’m drawn to earthy tones like clay, warm browns, and green and it’s probably because it’s the colors I remember seeing a lot in the Philippines! I’d describe my work as atmospheric, less about a perfectly polished shot and more about a feeling. Almost like you’re standing inside the memory instead of just watching it.
I’m a hands-on, crafty person at heart. I’ve painted murals, portraits, digital art, and calligraphy. I believe my films are handcrafted in that same way. There’s no formula I follow. I take the specific details and emotions I witness on your day and weave them into your film, so what you get is catered entirely to you and your story.
In 2024, I lost my mom to ovarian cancer. That’s really where was born. I learned how much moments matter, not just living them, but having something to look back on. That’s why nostalgia is at the center of everything I make and why film is my preferred format for a wedding day. It gives that same feeling of flipping through an old photo album, noticing the little details only you would remember or watching a home video and seeing someone you miss, or a version of yourself you didn’t know you’d miss too.
It means so much to know that years later, people are still revisiting memories through my films. I pair wedding content with my Super 8 films so brides can have experience their day holistically. They get the intentionality of Super 8 with all the little moments and details in between through iPhone content.
