It’s that time of the month…

App round up time: Instagram was the most downloaded app globally in June.

It’s taken the top spot since November last year with around 61M downloads this month. TikTok came in at number two with roughly 52M downloads.

TikTok downloads grew 25% this year in the US, even though it’s not the app’s biggest market.

Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram make up the top five, with Telegram re-entering the top five with around 32M downloads.

Interestingly, Temu ranked second in the App Store, coming in 6th overall. Threads also rose to the 8th spot, and Disney+ Hotstar broke the top 10 for the first time.

The takeaways: It looks like Instagram is still a good—and growing—place to focus your marketing efforts.

What app do your customers spend most of their time on? Some of my clients do better with marketing on LinkedIn due to the type of clients they are looking for. Some do great with Instagram.

I work with some of the coolest clients, one you see me brag about often, Yep, that's right Ginger. We have been building and breaking down what makes us tick for a few months now. Making life simpler is the Motive for Motive3 (Ginger's business if you didn't already know). Do what you're great at and leave the rest for someone else's destiny.

We have all spent the last several years grabbing at every opportunity to make a dime. For What? Did we really get ahead by taking on everything we could? Did you really make any money? How much family time did you lose out on? or time with friends? You get the point. Take a step back and write out what you have been doing. Then, circle the things you enjoy doing. Stick to those things you enjoy.
