Sometimes branding isn’t about starting over. It’s about establishing tone.

For Revel22 Wellness, the logo and name were already in place. Our goal was to build a visual language around those existing assets through video, educational materials, and a more intentional design system.

This intro animation became the opening frame for a series of videos featuring the clinic’s registered nurses, introducing everything from advanced machines to medical weight loss programs.

When you strengthen your brand and think about how it shows up, the message becomes more effective without needing to start from scratch.

Last week, we had the opportunity to speak with marketing students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

We shared one simple idea:
Every project at Lohco is an opportunity to develop or refine a brand.

Years ago, our focus was dynamic print design. That foundation has evolved into building full brand systems, campaigns, websites, video, environments, and experiences.

The Storytellers

Our next phase in the Where Stories Come Together brochure for Legacy Retirement was simple—bring the stories we heard over lunch to life.

And a story needs a storyteller.

We nominated a handful of fun-loving residents with plenty to share. These are the voices behind the pages. Each one with a different background, a different path, and a different reason Legacy feels like home.

Their stories are as beautiful as the paper they’re printed on. We chose Classic Crest Techweave, a mill item that gives the artwork an elegant, textured feel. It feels like something worth keeping. Because it is.

At the Table with Legacy Retirement Communities

Our next step in the Where Stories Come Together brochure was food and the people who enjoy it. We spent a full day across the communities. Kitchens running at full tilt. All chefs on duty. We photographed it all.

The goal was simple. Show the food the way it tastes and the people the way they feel. Crisp linens. Warm light. Plates with real weight. Laughter across the table.

We captured the chefs’ signature dishes and residents enjoying them. Prime rib. Seared scallops. Fresh desserts. Five-star elegance that still feels like home at Legacy Retirement Communities.

A Brochure with Intention

We didn’t start this project with paper, sketches, or concepts. We started with lunch shared with small groups of residents at Legacy Retirement Communities. Those conversations gave us a genuine look into how they live, connect, and share their stories.

From that came the vision: create something as engaging as hearing those stories in person. A brochure that captures how life changes here, and invites you to live fully and share your experiences with others.

Legacy Retirement doesn’t need reinvention. It just gets better with age.

From the beginning, this brand was built on doing what’s right and doing it well. It hasn’t wavered. It hasn’t bent. It’s only grown stronger.

But that doesn’t mean it can’t have a little fun.

Introducing The Iron Horse Saloon at Legacy Terrace. A new pub, a new logo, and a new place to raise a glass. Every community now has a refreshed spot to gather, unwind, and as always, share a story.

Congratulations, Scott Sullivan!

When trust is earned, great things follow.

For the past 17 years, working with Scott and the Nebraska Credit Union League has been nothing short of incredible. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for his support and for never missing the chance to celebrate every birdie.

For this sendoff, production didn’t stop until it felt just right. From Zoom interviews and animated logos to voiceovers, edits, and one perfectly timed surprise at NCUL’s annual meeting. The result? A room full of emotion and a well-earned standing ovation for a true legend.

We skillfully captured the essence of 5-star decadence with food photography, the joy of dining, and the delightful atmosphere offered at each location.
