Well hi, first thing is first, I am Megan. Many call me Meg or Megs. I am THANKFUL you are here 🥹🙏

I started The Social Bind, Marketing in 2022 after helping out a friend run her social media. She has since learned to manage her own social pages👏 (we love a growing queen) but my LOVE for social media and helping small businesses really grew under her beautiful business (Yall go give her a follow- she sells the BEST clothes)!!!

After that I started taking on more clients by word of mouth. I grew at The Good Lord’s pace and continue to find clients that fit well with me 🥹💟

Some QUICK fun facts about me:

✝️ I am a Christian and this will probably be the first thing you know about me. I love Jesus with all my heart and do my very best to serve Him well

🧍🧍‍♀️👦👦 I have a little precious family that I love SO much. Two wild little boys and we kinda operate a mini-homestead in the country 🌾🐓👩‍🌾

🐾 We are raising Boykin Spaniels and that is my “hobby”, I love training my dogs and filming/ photographing them

🥔 My favorite food is potatoes, (russet specifically) 😭 and I love them in ANY form, but especially fried 🍟

🎵 I LOVE music. I love to sing/ dance and make a silly fool of myself

🌳🌴🏕️🏝️ I love the outdoors. I love the mountains, the beach, hunting in Louisiana. Being outside allows me to slow down and see God- the most. Luckily my favorite people also love the outdoors, my family

I have served small women lead businesses, content creators, influencers, and even manly construction companies 💪 I do it all HENCE why my name is “The Social Bind”. We figure out what works BEST for your business and we BIND your content to 2-4 strategies.

Instagram? No problem. Facebook? We can do it! Linked In? YEP! We got it. Newsletters? I’m a pro at it now! Need a website designed? I can help. Just need monthly graphics? I’ve done that for a client too!

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

Read that again.

Not your critics.
Not the woman who talks about you.
Not the client who passed on you.
Not the family member who questions you.

They can speak.
They can assume.
They can project.

But they cannot *assign* your worth.

Somewhere along the way, we started handing out permission slips for our confidence. We let opinions become verdicts. We let comparison become identity.

But insecurity requires agreement.

And today? I’m revoking access.

You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to.
You don’t have to shrink to make someone else comfortable.
And you definitely don’t have to co-sign lies about who you are.

Confidence isn’t loud.
It’s the quiet decision to stop agreeing with what diminishes you.

Save this for the next time someone tries to make you question your value. 💜🖤

If you want people to trust you, they have to *feel* you.

And that doesn’t happen through perfect lighting or trending audio. It happens when they can see your face, hear your voice, and read your expressions.

Getting comfortable on camera matters because trust is built on familiarity. When your audience consistently sees you show up, unscripted, human, confident in your message, their guard drops. They stop consuming… and start connecting.

Storytelling on camera isn’t about performing.
It’s about presence.

The more comfortable you are, the more believable you are.
And people don’t buy from who’s the most polished.
They buy from who feels the most real.

Situations in life and with other people can sometimes complicate our feelings against our jobs and work.

Negativity & frustration can pour out of us, or we can choose GRACE. Or we can choose JOY. Or we can choose to serve the LIGHT.

I love Ephesians 6:6 because on the hard days it reminds me that I am serving for a greater purpose. God is our purpose- and we serve him whole heartedly 🖤

It’s not about doing it *all
Or doing it *the best
But instead focusing on doing it *consistently

How to get consistent?
1) set realistic goals
2) set alarms or put it on the calendar
3) make it happen (with a social media manager, of course 😉)
4) don’t sweat a miss, learn from it and MOVE FORWARD
