If you’ve ever been on set with him, you know Derek brings a distinct vision to every project and knows exactly how to bring it to life. His dedication to film is woven into everything he does. From amassing over half a billion views across 100+ music videos, to directing and writing scripts for many of our clients, he is constantly elevating our work.

But beyond his impressive resume, it’s his personality that makes him so special. Originally from New York and now thriving in LA, he’s a guy of many talents, including being a nationally ranked snowboarder in his teens and a reliable dog-sitter.

We took the full Maven operation to Belmont Shore Beach in Long Beach for a complete promotional commercial shoot featuring some of the best of the SoCal Chevy lineup.

None of it happens without the right people saying yes. A huge thank you to the City of Long Beach Filming Department and the Marine Safety Division as well as TMI Traffic Management for making the location possible, to the wind surfers who shared their beach with a full production crew- and gave us some pretty great production value, and most of all to our talent Sherline and Craig- and wonderful crew, who took every gust, reset every take, and delivered on every take. 🎬

While we don’t typically manage creators, our agency has a long history of leading brand partnerships and long-term sponsorships and we believe deeply in supporting creators in ways that make brand work sustainable. As we lean into personal brand development in 2026, we’re excited to partner with Evelyn across all of her ventures.

This was our first full year of working with Apple Sport.

A huge thank you to our crew and our star, Alexis. Whether you’ve seen her superb dance moves, spot-on comedic timing, or the way she brings our skit scripts to life, your support has meant the world to us.

This year, we continued our series “Here at Apple Sport,” shining a spotlight on the charismatic and talented teams at Apple Sport Ford, Chevy, and Imports across both sales and service. Through this series alone, we reached over 1 million views, helping drive meaningful traffic and discovery across Apple Sport’s digital platforms.

Across all platforms, the Apple Sport community grew to 130,000+ followers, with organic social traffic up more than 350%, since we began our work with them.
