When everyone was looking at the loud, brilliant chaos of Fran Fine, the real tactical masterclass was happening right next to her. Let’s talk about C.C. Babcock.
To the untrained eye, C.C. was dressed for the corporate boardroom. But if you know what you’re actually looking at, her style was just as compelling, sharp, and intentional as Fran’s.
The mandate for C.C. was clear: she was old money, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in high society. But “traditional” never had to mean boring. To bring her to life, I bypassed the standard department store racks and pulled directly from my own personal collection of vintage jackets.
The C.C. Blueprint:
The Silhouette: We relied on an incredibly elegant, razor-sharp line. Structured shoulders, immaculate tailoring, and a posture that commanded the room.
The Vintage Edge: By anchoring her wardrobe with genuine vintage jackets, her pieces carried the weight of real wealth. These weren’t trends; they suggested heritage, history, and a curated eye.
The Restraint: While Fran was high-octane color, C.C. mastered the art of quiet confidence. Her complexity came through the texture of the fabrics, the precision of the cut, and an unyielding commitment to sophistication.
C.C. Babcock proved that elegance doesn’t have to blend into the background. It can stand completely on its own, take up space, and be just as unforgettable as a neon miniskirt.

13 Years of Transformation: Reimagining L’Oréal Paris in Beverly Hills

Our mission was always the same: take a standard corporate conference room or hotel suite at The Peninsula or the Four Seasons Beverly Hills and erase its identity to make room for the brand.
The Ground-Up Build
We didn’t just add flowers and a logo. We executed a full-scale structural “skinning”:
• The Foundation: We brought in custom flooring and built-out walls to replace the “hotel” feel with a sleek, Parisian atelier aesthetic.
• The Utility: We engineered professional-grade plumbing and lighting to create a fully functioning Spa and Salon where there was once just a meeting room.
• The Result: A sanctuary where the A-list didn’t just see the products—they used them in a professional, high-luxury environment.
The “Intellectual Wink”: The Lipstick Chandelier
To truly anchor the space, we looked for a way to turn a mass-produced beauty staple into a piece of high-art architecture.
• The Installation: We designed and engineered a custom chandelier crafted entirely out of L’Oréal lipsticks.
• The Impact: It served as a glowing visual metaphor for the brand—taking the everyday item in a woman’s purse and elevating it to a position of light and luxury. It wasn’t just decor; it was a conversation piece that defined the room.
The KPR Standard
Thirteen years of Awards Season excellence taught us that the difference between a “good event” and a “brand legacy” is in the production. When you control the floor, the walls, and even the lighting fixtures, you control the narrative.
