As a partner of Meta, Fifth Sun Pictures is proud to help amplify the launch of America’s Workforce Academy, a major new workforce initiative designed to connect people with long-term careers supporting America’s growing AI infrastructure.
Backed by an initial $115 million investment from Meta, the Academy will provide eligible participants with:
Paid, cost-free training
No prior trade experience required
Industry-recognized credentials
Training in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fiber connectivity, and construction fundamentals.
A job offer from a Meta contractor partner, conditioned on successful program completion.
The five-week training program will launch with pilot locations in Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana, and Texas, with applications open to qualified candidates from all 50 states.
For schools, government agencies, nonprofits, workforce organizations, and business leaders, this initiative represents an important model: education and training are most powerful when they are connected to real employers, portable credentials, paid opportunities, and clear career outcomes.
