🔥🤾🏾‍♂️ there was genuinely a point in time where the idea of Carti and Kendrick sharing a stage sounded like fan fiction 😭

one built an empire off chaos, aura, and internet mythology.

the other became the voice of intention, storytelling, and cultural critique.

different worlds. different fanbases. different philosophies.

and somehow… the timelines collided.

the craziest part? the internet moved on after 48 hours like this wasn’t one of the most unexpected crossover moments in modern rap history.

because yes — Drake technically passed Michael Jackson in total Billboard 🥇1s.

but MJ had ELEVEN solo 🥇1 records.
Drake only has FIVE solo 🥇1s.

the rest came through features/collabs.

which is ironic considering Drake became famous for giving artists “stimulus packs”…
when Rihanna literally gave HIM his first ever 🥇1 hit 😭

“What’s My Name?” was Rihanna’s song.
then she gave him ANOTHER #1 with “Work.”

meanwhile MJ was out here turning entire albums into 1 factories with no playlists, no autoplay, no TikTok, no streaming inflation.

bro had FIVE 1s off ONE album.

that’s why people keep side-eyeing this media run.

because the stats say Drake passed MJ…

⚡️🤾🏾‍♂️ DJ Akademiks accidentally saying “Drake’s kids” instead of “kid” might genuinely be one of the craziest Freudian slips of this entire beef 😭

And before the OVO Avengers start typing essays… a Freudian slip is basically when somebody accidentally reveals what’s REALLY sitting in their subconscious without meaning to say it out loud.

Ak has spent the entire Kendrick vs Drake war acting like the unofficial OVO press secretary. Bro was premiering diss tracks, defending Drake every stream, moving like he had employee benefits and dental insurance from OVO 😭 (Complex)

So when somebody THAT close to the situation casually says “kids” instead of “kid”… people are obviously gonna look at him sideways 👀

Especially after Kendrick literally accused Drake of hiding more children on “Meet The Grahams” and the internet spent months calling it cap. (Wikipedia)

Now Ak slips up and says it in plural like he already attended the birthday parties, brought Capri Suns, and met the cousins 😭 skull emoji.

The funniest part is Drake himself once joked that if Kendrick’s claims were true then Akademiks must be working for him because the narratives kept leaking backfired information 😭

And let’s be honest… history already showed Drake CAN hide a child successfully because the world literally found out about Adonis through a rap beef in the first place. (Wikipedia)

So now the entire internet hearing Ak say “kids” got people looking at each other like:
