But - honestly, most times it feels like all you’ve got isn’t enough.

You don’t have to do everything perfectly.

You just need a strategic plan for your biz.

1. Allow new people to find your business through engaging content on social media. 2-3 posts a week.

2. Send your email subscribers valuable information - to keep them interested in buying. At least 1x a week.

3. Make sure that your website is optimized to sell! Don’t waste words trying to sound cool. How does your offer solve their problem? Focus on that.

Stop stressing about doing all the things - focus on the simple money makers.

One solution for one problem - that’s the foundation of every sales page.

Your sales page should read like a one-on-one conversation between you and the reader. No one else.

You reach more people by making them feel special. Write to one person.

Remember it’s NEVER about you! It’s about your customer, their problems, and how you solve that problem.

Spend very little time discussing you and your accomplishments. Even better, frame all of your skills around how they solve your buyers problem.

If your offer solves multiple problems, what’s the biggest?
Focus on that. Trying to solve multiple problems seems like you can’t solve any.

The buyer will realize the other problems your offer solves. They’ll likely mention it in a review. But, they won’t if you can’t get them to buy in the first place.

VOICE OF CUSTOMER!

Sorry I’ll calm down.

VOC language allows you to speak like your customer - not like you.

You’re too close to your brand. Your buyers would likely explain their pains and solutions a lot differently than you.

You think you know them, but are you sure?

So, how do you find VOC?

Research.

I know I’m like a broken record. But, it’s true.

If you’re writing your own copy (which is totally fine) you can’t just write from the heart.

Well, you can - but it may not sell.

If you’re gonna DIY, you better come ready like a pro.

Sometime you have to SELL!

If you’re wondering why emails aren’t a MAJOR deal in your biz - it’s because you aren’t selling in them.

Yes, you need to give free value!

Yes, you need to engage.

But - YOU HAVE TO SEND OUT REGULAR SALES EMAILS!

Not just a sales sequence for a launch.

You should be sending out a sales email 25% to 33% of the time.

I advise my clients to shoot for 1 out of every 4 emails.

This doesn’t mean every sales email is a hard sell. You don’t have to force feed your offer to someone.

But, I know you & I know you’re probably not doing it at all.

You announced your offer on IG stories. You made cute graphics with new photos. You wrote a sales page describing your offer.

So, why did your cart close without you being anywhere near your launch goal???

There are a million possible reasons why a launch doesn’t go as planned.

Before you launch your next offer - remember to address these 3...

1. You don’t have any leads.

You’re on social all the time. You comment, like, and slide into the DM’s. That’s enough, right?
Wrong. You need to talk about what you do to the people that you help. Making friends is amazing, but don’t be afraid to pitch when it feels appropriate. Ask people what struggles they’re facing. Tell them if you could help.

2. If you’ve spent a lot of time on lead generation - you may have forgotten to warm up those leads.

Prior to your launch, your content should be aimed at making your audience aware of the problems they’re having that your offer solves.

This isn’t selling. This is nurturing. It’s imperative for a successful launch.

3. Your sales page should be a one page funnel & you don’t have a clue what to say.

You describe your offer. All of the modules, bonuses, etc. BUT, you have no idea what to say to get your reader nodding in agreement as they continue scrolling down the page to click your buy button.

You’ve spent so much time perfecting your offer.

You make sure that you’ve given everything your audience says they want and need.

Yet, you didn’t realize that the real selling happens on the page. When no one is around. Just the reader and your words.

Are you words strong enough to close the deal for you???

I really hope so.

You’re probably thinking...

I promise you’re not alone.

Sales pages are hard...if you don’t have a plan.

As soon as you approach it with a game plan, your fingers are flying across the keyboard.

That’s why copywriters like me make it look easy. I never write without a clear game plan.

Before you sit down to write, spend time mapping out the information your sales page needs to include. If you’re missing some things, map out how you’ll get that info.

How to make your about page stand out?

When working on LAZYFACE’s about page, I needed to show why this brand is different from other vegan skincare brands.

The personality of the company needed to shine, in order to attract the right customers.

So just like that fedora in my photo - I made some bold choices.

The page started out with a little joke. This allowed us to include an SEO keyword (clean beauty) and show a bit of personality.

I followed that up by describing the brand’s ICA (ideal customer avatar).
Who are they? How do they behave? What don’t they want?

The brand is very clear about who wants their products & who won’t. Painting a clear picture of the customer let’s people know right away if they’re in the right place.

Finally it was time to tell the reader what the brand will do for them. This is KEY on about pages.

Buyers really just want to know more about how you’ll help them. Make the customer the focal point of your about page & add in a touch of personality. You’ll be standing out in no time!

The answer is not always within you. Sometimes you’ve gotta just ask the people who are going to buy.

I’m sure we’ve all received a gift we didn’t want. I mean, it’s nice, it’s fine. Inside you’re screaming, “I wish they would’ve just asked what I wanted.”

Don’t make your customers feel that way!

Want to know what product you should create next? Ask your peeps.

Trying to figure out why no one fills out your contact form? See if someone from your tribe will let them watch you do it.

Not sure how to describe your service? Listen to the way your customers describe it!

The answers are always in your community. They’re the key.
