Do you have release coming up in January or February?

This is your reminder to start ramping up your marketing for release!

Make sure your ARC team is getting started (if you don't already have an ongoing team).
Make sure your promos are scheduled!
If this is a series, are you going to put books on sale? (not necessary but some do)
Are you marketing only on Instagram? Or are you hitting other social media platforms too?
Do you have a PA? Are you communicating all that you want? (They are not mind readers I promise that!)

Well, you get where I am going with this.

The carisol never stops turning. Christmas may be coming, but we cannot forget to look ahead to what is coming.

This is one of the most used phrases that I use in life. I even have it as a sign right in front of me as I sit here typing this out. There is so much stuff that happens in our lifetime that whatever is happening right now is just a moment in time.

That Imposter Syndrome that you feel, it's just a feeling for that moment and this too shall pass.

But at the same time, when you get that amazing feeling when you type 'The End' that too shall pass, so cherish it.

Let's talk about Books2Read.

This is a great platform to use if you have a book in multiple places. If you are on KU but selling paperbacks in Barnes & Noble, if you are wide and you are selling in multiple places, and especially if you are selling ecopies - paperbacks - and audiobooks.

Instead of having a ton of links for one book in your link tree or wherever you store them, but them in this platform and give that ONE link out instead.

I recently did a poll with my hosts to ask what kind of books they wanted to read through our virtual book tour services. I was not surprised when I saw that they want to see more contemporary and romcom stories.

What was enlighting though is that they want more dark and dirty reads! Of course I am not naming any names here besides my own..

But we would be happy to read and review more mafia, paranormal, WHY CHOOSE?, type books.

Also, side note but they have also let me know that they would like to see more LGBTQIA+ and more diverse ethnicities too.
