I had the honor, and pleasure to design the cover and the inside of this wonderful book that goes on sale today. Wonderfully written by my friend since elementary school Ron Fassler, with illustrations by Jeffrey L York it is a treat for all to enjoy. Particularly my theater loving friends.

A few months ago, our staff agreed it was time to update our logo. Making such a change is not something to be taken lightly. A logo sends a message about who we are, what we are all about, and how we want the world to see us.

I am pleased to announce the completion of the Summer issue of Ed&IS. The magazine of the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies. Assisting me with both writing and editing on this issue was Alex Polner.

Ed&IS features the current research of the Faculty of the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies. The magazine also focuses on current issues, such as COVID-19 and its impact on both students and teachers.
