At 16, I hated this trade.
At 22, I decided I’d build my life around it.
I started in concrete working for my father. Then 2008 hit and he lost everything he built. I went to work for a high-end architect in the Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills, learning the trade from every angle I could.
It took me 15 years before I felt ready to get my own General B license.
I saved for a full year just to reinvest it back into the company. Money out of my own pocket, just to keep it alive.
Four months ago, everything went dry. Slow season. Personal life falling apart. I almost walked away and went back to being a foreman.
But I’m a believer. Isaiah 60:22 — at the right time, He will make it happen. Faith the size of a mustard seed.
Two projects landed back to back. Then more. Now we’re booked 3–4 months out and I brought my brother in as project manager.
We specialize in concrete, foundations, and the hillside jobs nobody else wants to touch.
Because everything starts with a foundation.
