Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and father figures out there.

Growing up, it was just my mom and me, so Father’s Day looked a little different in our house. I was lucky to have a mom who filled both roles and did it incredibly well.

Years later, I’m fortunate to have a wonderful stepfather to celebrate, and I get to watch my husband be an amazing dad.

I’m also grateful to work alongside so many great dads through Shield Marketing Solutions. Whether they're leading businesses, supporting their families, coaching a team, or showing up for their communities, I see firsthand the difference they make every day. 🚔

Memorial Day is a time to pause and remember the service members who gave their lives in defense of our country and our freedoms. 🇺🇸

The UNH Police Department honors their sacrifice and extends gratitude to all who have served. We wish our community a safe and meaningful holiday.

It was a pleasure to attend the New Hampshire State Firemen's Association meeting on Saturday morning and catch up with some great folks!

A lot of work goes into the planning and coordination of the annual New Hampshire Fallen Firefighter Memorial so if you can, add it to your calendar for September.

On this chilly Saturday morning, the New Hampshire State Firemen's Association executive board members and county representatives gathered for a meeting at the Loudon NH Fire Department.

As always, the conversation was productive with each person in attendance sharing important updates from across the state, along with continued progress on plans for the upcoming 20th Anniversary of the NH Fallen Firefighter Memorial.

We invite the public to join us this fall for the New Hampshire Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony on September 26, 2026, as we continue our tradition of honoring those whose names are etched in granite.

Earlier today, Emma and I had the pleasure of meeting up in Concord after she wrapped up finals and was on her way home for break.

It was great to connect in person, sharing more about the work I’ve been doing, hearing about her amazing experiences, and learning more about the story she’s writing on the University of New Hampshire Police Department for The New Hampshire (UNH’s independent, student-run newspaper).

Emma and I were connected through UNH PD after she recently completed a ride-along and met with members of the department to learn specifics on the important work they do. Through those conversations, we also discovered a shared interest in public information and community storytelling as Emma is especially interested in pursuing a PIO role in law enforcement after graduation.

Such a wonderful meeting and we even convinced a trustworthy stranger to snap a photo. 📸 Thanks, Emma!
