🔋 Master Battery - Knoxville Knoxville’s battery experts have gotten a website overhaul!

😤 The Problem
We took on the MasterBattery.com website back in 2017, and now, in 2025, it needed to be rebuilt according to the current website design and security standards.

✅ The Solution
During Winter 2024, we rebuilt the entire MasterBattery.com website from the ground up. The old, antiquated WordPress theme has been replaced with a versatile premium theme, and we redesigned every page based on their current catalog of battery products.

Extra features of the website include a feed of Google Reviews, list of team members, photos of their store, extensive product categories, and much more.

This website is fully mobile-friendly with a responsive design, and is hosted on a secure cloud server.

😤 The Problem
Owner of Special Selections Soaps has successfully sold her homemade goat milk soap in-person at local farmers markets. It’s time to start selling online to save time and reach a wider audience.

✅ The Solution
We built the Special Selections Soaps website using Square, the payment merchant that they were already using to process orders. The new site has all of their products including dropdowns for different fragrances, cart and checkout.

😤The Problem
Owner of Little Foots Jewelry had a website designed in 2022 and has only had problems since then. Most notably, images would not display properly, which is very important for selling eCommerce items!

✅ The Solution
We took over the Little Foots Jewelry website and resolved the image issues (which was a recurring problem for over 3 years) in 24 hours. We cleaned up the backend, fixed the frontend, and strengthened the core hosting. We are now hosting and managing the Little Foots eCommerce site as part of our Website Care Service.

FAQ: Why Am I Getting Spam Through My Contact Form?

There are several reasons why spam could be coming through your website: automated bots, email harvesting for marketing purposes, or even targeted attacks (for most small businesses, this is usually not the case).

Fortunately, there are several things we can do to cut down on the spam. A popular solution is the “I’m not a robot” checkbox you have probably seen across the Web. Google makes this “CAPTCHA” solution and gives it away for free. There are even invisible versions of their Captcha solution that you may not notice on the frontend.

From time to time, we may need to tweak the settings on your Captcha implementation to tighten up the security. We can even swap out Google’s Captcha for another solution called Turnstile by Cloudflare. This one looks similar and provides the same thing — a way to cut down on spam coming through your form.

🎯 Actionable Tip: If you are receiving spam daily from one of your website’s forms, please inform me. I won’t know unless you tell me. Then, we can tweak the Captcha settings to cut down on the spam.

FAQ: Do I Need to Start Using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.)?

Artificial Intelligence is taking the world by storm! There are so many impressive uses of AI across numerous industries. How does this affect your website? The general consensus in the website and graphic design field is to continue to hire professionals who can leverage these AI tools in the design process. This speeds up some of our design and editing tasks, but doesn’t replace the need for a professional.

🎯 Actionable Tip: If you have played around with ChatGPT yourself, you may find it helpful to ask ChatGPT or a similar AI bot to help you write a blog post. Try a prompt such as this: “Write a 1000 word blog post about the need for AI in the website design space.” See for yourself how valuable this can be as a first draft (not a final draft). You might use a tool like ChatGPT to get the creative juices flowing, then take the response, polish it up using your editing & expertise, then publish that onto your website.

Personally, I feel like AI generated copy feels too “AI,” although the technology is rapidly advancing to sound more natural. Plus, you can adjust your prompt to request a certain “tone.” Still, some of the AI baked into photo editing tools like Photoshop is incredible, especially the “Generative Fill” tools.

FAQ: Why Is My Contact Form Not Working?

So much happens when a visitor to your website submits your contact form. Due to the onslaught of spam, mail servers are getting even pickier about which emails land in your inbox. Therefore, it is recommended to integrate an Email Deliverability Service, which acts as a mail delivery service to get your email (e.g. form submission) to your inbox (rather than your spam folder or not delivered at all). I can help you get this setup!

🎯 Actionable Tip: Please test your contact form at least once a month to ensure you receive those submissions in a convenient, timely way. Let me know ASAP if you ever notice your contact form NOT delivering submissions to you in a timely manner.
