Small business owners already came to the front, so now let me talk to the future CEOs real quick.

The Tiny Tycoons & Mini Moguls Vendor Fair is about building real confidence, real skills, and real business experience for our young entrepreneurs. But to keep the experience at the level of excellence it deserves, I need more kidpreneurs registered.

I don’t do events just to do them. I do them with intention and impact. And if we can’t hit the numbers needed to create that experience, I’ll have to pause it this year.

If you know a young boss in the making, send them my way. Let’s keep building legacy.

I can send the registration link!

Small business owners, come to the front of the congregation please.

Now you know I wouldn’t be who I am as a customer service aficionado if I didn’t say something about this.

I empathize with y’all. I really do. Entrepreneurship is not for the weak. But let’s be clear about something: customers support you because you have a product or service they need or want. They are coming to you to solve a problem.

Most of them are not concerned about what you have going on personally. And while transparency is cool, oversharing your struggles does not guarantee loyalty. They may say “I understand” and “I’m praying for you,” but best believe they will also find someone else who can deliver without the instability.

You cannot “woe is me” your way into sales.

You have to show up. Consistently. Professionally. Strategically.

If business is slow, go back and evaluate what you are doing or not doing. Are you marketing? Are you following up? Are you nurturing your audience? Are you visible?

Nobody is obligated to support you just because business is slow.

Give them a reason to.

Speaking as someone whose learned and still learning
