I am walking away from my first Miss NY with preliminary talent award and as a top ten finalist! I have so many thanks you’s to give!
To Nina: You have shown me so much support through this process, from mock interviews to uplifting texts I am lucky to have you as a director and to have stumbled upon FLUNY because it has changed my entire life and I have you to thank for that. I couldn’t have done this without you and I’m proud to be your local titleholder!
To my coach Georgie: I met you at just three years old and to think it’s led us here is insane. Thank you for all the prep, help with hair and makeup trials, and so much support. I wouldn’t be the performer I am today without you and your coaching and I have you to thank for my success this week.
To the state board: thank you for such an incredible week. I have had the most amazing first experience and the hard work you all put in does not go unnoticed. I cannot wait to be back next year.
To Rockland county: Thank you for showing us all the love this week and hosting us! Rockland county is truly a sight to see and it was a beautiful place to spend my week!
To my roommate Gabi: you’ve been a big sister to me this week and I feel like I won the roommate lottery with you! Thank you for all the fun and encouragement this week! I’m so happy to have gotten to know you better!
To Chelsea: You’ve also been such a big sister to me since FLUNY and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know you. You absolutely killed it this week and I’m so proud of you. I look up to you so much and I’m honored to have competed alongside you.
To Lucille: I’m so beyond proud of you and the incredible woman you are! You have worked so hard and this win is so so deserved. I know you are going to represent this title so well and do incredible things. I can’t wait to cheer you on as you compete at Miss America
To Madison: congratulations darling! You are so beautiful inside and out and I can’t wait to see all you do as our next Miss NY
To my family: How could I ever be where I am today without you. I’m so lucky to have this support system. You guys are my rock and I’m so happy to have made you proud this week. I love you all so much.
