The dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has resulted in a $100,000 loss of funds for Global Links, which has the potential to limit our ability to improve health in the communities we serve.
The unpredictability of this situation may place a more significant burden on Global Links, but we remain steadfast in our mission to improve health in vulnerable communities.
Charity Navigator recently shared a list of nonprofit organizations that were impacted by the federal funding freeze, and included Global Links on that list. Charity Navigator, an assessment organization that evaluates more than 230,000 charitable organizations in the U.S. has given Global Links a four-star rating, their highest, for cost-effectiveness and overall health of a charity’s programs, including measures of stability, efficiency, and sustainability.
