Biography
Kim Justine Bouthillier (Desrosiers)
Artist, Teacher & Founder of Be Brave Art Studio

Living and working in Connecticut, art has always been Kim's passion. She has attended artists’ workshops in mixed media, drawing, printmaking, oil & silk painting. Kim studied art with a concentration in Graphic Design. After a successful career, she rediscovered her truest self – an artist and teacher whose heart is to inspire others to creativity. She has taught children and adults and founded Be Brave Art Studio in February of 2014. Currently Kim leads workshops, painting events,
and also takes on commissioned projects. Her work is a reflection of her love of color & nature, intuitive and autobiographical messages, non-objective art, and the endless awe of God’s creation. Kim resides in Manchester, CT with her son and two fury companions – a spunky Jack Russell Terrier, Lilly, and a sweet old cat, Precious – who you'll always find underfoot by her easel.
