BBA&D also travels - facilitating art parties to teach individuals how to create an art piece in just a few hours while socializing and having fun! You can bring Be Brave Art & Design into your home, school, community center, business. This is a fun opportunity for private events, fundraisers, team building. All materials provided! For more information on hosting an event please contact Kim at [email protected] Biography Kim Justine Bouthillier (Desrosiers) Artist, Teacher & Founder of Be Brave Art Studio Living and working in Connecticut, art has always been Kim's passion. She has attended artists’ workshops in mixed media, drawing, printmaking, oil & silk painting. Kim studied art with a concentration in Graphic Design. After a successful career, she rediscovered her truest self – an artist and teacher whose heart is to inspire others to creativity. She has taught children and adults and founded Be Brave Art Studio in February of 2014. Currently Kim leads workshops, painting events, and also takes on commissioned projects. Her work is a reflection of her love of color & nature, intuitive and autobiographical messages, non-objective art, and the endless awe of God’s creation. Kim resides in Manchester, CT with her son and two fury companions – a spunky Jack Russell Terrier, Lilly, and a sweet old cat, Precious – who you'll always find underfoot by her easel.
