It’s pinning day for my sissy. I remember my pinning day, it was such a special full circle experience where all the hard work, late nights, long study sessions and overwhelming moments that brought me to my knees were worth it, it’s when we (nurses) recite an oath together and promise to take care of our patients like our own family. No matter what. Nursing has been a career that has been life changing for me, I love all aspects of it so much. It’s a career that allows me to serve every day and has taught me so much about life’s hard lessons. you will be an amazing nurse. I hope you always remember this day and how you feel right now. Stay excited, it’s tough out there, but so worth it. And thank you, for being willing to do a hard job, so hard, so needed and so rewarding.
