If you’ve ever worked with a small business, you already know:
Your job title is just the starting point.
Let me tell you something… working with a small business is not for the weak. 🥵
When you step in, you’re not just doing what’s on your job title.
You’re stepping up.
You’ll wear a few hats..maybe even build a few from scratch.
You’ll take on things that don’t quite fit your job description and somehow… still get it done.
Because working in a small business means being resourceful, fast on your feet, and a little bit scrappy.
It means thinking, solving, and creating all at once and doing it with PURPOSE.
When you’ve worked with small businesses long enough, you don’t just do one thing
you become the thing that keeps that part of the engine going.
You learn how every piece connects,
how to jump in when something slips,
and how to keep things running even when the blueprint changes mid-project.
Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not about doing it all..
it’s about knowing how to make what matters work.
This season, I’m reminding myself (and you) to tap into every part of yourself that knows how to figure it out.
Know how you learn.
Build systems that actually support you.
And stop accepting anything that doesn’t align with your purpose, no matter how “good” it looks on paper.
Video is me tapping into another skill to help my mom with her event needs. 😅
