micah celebrated 24 at pickwick lake and i’m pretty sure this entire weekend was a GOOD TIME. bright colors, custom koozies, all the lake weekend fun + a “pickwick palooza” banner for the birthday girl herself. i had never met micah before this order, but she was such a joy to work with and somehow i feel like i would fit right in with the river rats. 🤣
and that first picture?! an absolute DREAM for the girl who painted the banner. 🥹

cole is one of mr. bbt’s best friend’s little boys + we have been joking that he and boston are betrothed basically forever, so obviously his 4th birthday banner had to be GOOD. 🤣 his mom requested four specific pokémon and, much like my previous adventures with star wars, i knew approximately zero of them and headed straight to google. the things i do for these kids. 🤣 and then his mama absolutely KILLED the pool party setup — every little detail was SO fun, colorful + perfect for cole. swipe because the banner was only the beginning. 💛

some banners are fun to paint. some feel like an absolute honor. this was the latter. 🥹✨
when a make-a-wish volunteer reached out about creating something for sweet olyvia, i learned that this banner would be part of the moment she found out her wish was coming true — she was going to disney world. 🏰🤍 knowing how much she loves disney and princesses, we filled it with a cinderella-inspired castle, blues + golds and two of her favorites, rapunzel and tiana. when they offered to pay me, i just couldn’t do it. getting to contribute one tiny piece to such a BIG moment was more than enough. i hope your wish is everything you dreamed it would be, olyvia. ✨

i first got to create for this sweet family back in march for big sister’s birthday, so i LOVED seeing their name pop up again for lucy’s 5th! her bright + pastel summer banner made its debut at her birthday celebration and then packed its bags right along with the family for a birthday beach trip. 🥹🤍 pineapple, popsicle, watermelon, sunnies, sunshine + one very cute flamingo floatie... basically everything a summer birthday should be. happy 5th, lucy! ✨

back in may, i did a banner giveaway at the memphis moms bloom event, and sweet sabrina was my winner! a few months later, it was finally time to put that prize to work for alastair’s very first birthday. 🤍 his “one happy camper” theme gave me the cutest little tent, bistro lights, stars + ALL those evergreen trees to play with — and can i have a tiny proud banner girl moment over those trees?! the blending turned out exactly how i pictured it, and i’m pretty sure my paintbrush leveled up a little with this one. 🥹🌲 happy first birthday, alastair!

growing up, i love lucy was one of MY shows. so getting this order felt a little extra special. 📺❤️✨
i used to watch i love lucy on nick at nite all the time, and as a little cuban girl, i thought it was SO cool seeing desi arnaz on tv — it was the first time i remember seeing someone cuban on a show i loved. 🥹 fast forward all these years and somehow i’m painting an i love lucy birthday banner of my own, complete with red polka dots, a retro teal tv + my first-ever pop art style lucy! AND THEN we packed her up and sent her farther than any banners by tab banner has ever gone... all the way to CALIFORNIA! 🤍 first california order officially in the books. happy birthday, lizzie!
