Serious question, y’all…

How do you have plans on outsourcing when you don’t understand the basis of e-commerce?

Did you guys ever see that’s show “Tabatha Takes Over” on Bravo?

In short, Tabatha is a master hairstylist and salon owner. She goes into salons that are struggling to stay afloat, assess them, and implements changes that will recover the business.

Funny thing is… half the salon owners who were featured on the show had never even stepped into a salon before.

They believed it would be a “successful venture” because they saw money in it, but had zero experience with salons.

Can y’all see how that’s ass backwards?

I’m not saying you need to know how to run ads (although that’s huge), but you absolutely need to understand the numbers.

I’m not saying you need to know how to run an e-mail campaign, but you absolutely need to be able to look at the analytics to see what’s working and what’s not.

You have to understand the components of e-commerce before you outsource responsibility to anyone else.

Please know that your first attempt (and second and third) at selling a product will likely not be a winner.

Just like riding a bike, your first attempt will likely suck.

But, just like riding a bike, the more you do the better you'll get.

You have to go through your round of products to find one that will stick, then you'll start the process again.

And every time you do the gap gets smaller and smaller

Don't give up!

The reward is around the corner.
