Choose Your Path ... I Choose Automation

Ever since I've read the "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Feriss, I have completely changed my outlook on running a business. With the automation technology we have today, namely CRM platforms, there is no need for you to waste your time handling all the minor tasks. I've been using my CRM and marketing platform to automate and streamline design businesses for over a year now and the results are increasingly impactful(no... not everything needs to be done by you to grow).

From ensuring timely follow-ups to enhancing client engagement, automated messaging has revolutionized how we interact with clients. This isn’t just about efficiency; it’s about creating spaces where creativity thrives without administrative overheads. Here are a few key insights I’ve gained:

1. Consistency is Key: Regular updates keep clients in the loop and significantly boost satisfaction.
2. Personal Touch: Customizing messages has led to more meaningful interactions, making clients feel truly valued.
3. Scalability: Automation allows businesses to handle more clients without compromising the quality of communication.
4. Reputation: By automating the process of asking clients for reviews, you can grow in the google rankings and build credibility without wasting a minute of your time.

These tools have not only streamlined operations but also deepened client relationships, proving that sometimes, the right word at the right time is all it takes.

Exploring the work of architects like Francis Kere reinforces my commitment to helping design professionals create meaningful connections through their work. Kere’s people-centered approach to architecture exemplifies how deeply understanding client needs can elevate any project—principles that I apply daily at Migon Marketing. By focusing on human-centric design and marketing strategies, we help designers not only showcase their work but ensure it resonates deeply with their audience. If you’re looking to make your designs not just seen, but felt, let’s connect and discuss how we can bring your projects to life together.

3 UNIQUE WAYS AI CAN HELP YOU GROW YOUR DESIGN BUSINESS!

Learn more ↓

1. AI-Powered Customer Interaction
Whether it’s through chatbots on your website, responding to reviews, or handling inquiries, AI can be your communication hero. For example, if someone asks questions about your services on your site, an AI chatbot can instantly provide a detailed response personalized for your business. It’s like having a super-efficient assistant who works 24/7, but way cheaper!

2. AI for Project Visualization
Imagine showing your clients their project outcomes before you even start! AI visualization tools can generate realistic previews based on your sketches, allowing clients to see and tweak designs in real-time. It’s a game-changer for client satisfaction and for avoiding costly revisions.

3. AI for Social Media Management
Managing social media can be overwhelming. AI tools that schedule posts, suggest content based on trends, and even interact with followers can save you hours each week, and could make all the difference for you. They keep the engagement up without you having to manually manage every post (you don't have time for that)

Incorporating AI into my Migon Marketing platform has not only streamlined operations but provided invaluable help to busy design professionals. Don't waste your time these days when there are AI tools like the ones I mentioned. If you’re in the design field, diving into AI could be your next best move.

Curious about the top design tools that are changing the game in 2024? Here are my three favorites that I believe every designer should check out:

🔹 Canva: Not just for quick designs, Canva is a powerhouse for creating professional-looking graphics at an affordable price. Whether it’s social media posts, website graphics, or full presentations, Canva’s Pro version offers tremendous value with its extensive library and collaboration tools. It's a must-have for capturing more clients with eye-catching visuals!

🔹 SketchUp: Ideal for architects and interior designers, SketchUp’s subscription models fit any stage of your business. It helps you visualize projects in 3D, enhancing precision and client communication while saving time. A great investment for those looking to streamline design processes and impress clients with vivid, accurate models.

🔹 Adobe XD: From wireframes to complete prototypes, Adobe XD lets you do it all with speed and style. The pricing varies based on the package, but considering the seamless integration with other Adobe products and features like Repeat Grid, it’s perfect for UX/UI designers looking to save time and refine workflows. Adobe XD helps turn your ideas into reality efficiently, attracting more clients with high-quality, professional designs.

These tools are more than just software; they’re gateways to expanding your creative capabilities and business reach in 2024.

Want your design business to pop up first on Google? Here is some practical advice to help you climb those ranks. Here’s the real deal, no corporate fluff:

1. Give Your Google Business Profile Some Love: Treat it like your social media page. Update it as if you’re texting updates to a friend. Post pics from your latest project, respond to every review like it’s from your grandma, and keep your info as fresh as your designs.
2. Keywords Are Your Best Friends: Dive into what your clients are actually typing into Google. Use tools like AnswerThePublic to find quirky queries and sprinkle these into your website text, like magic dust!
3. Content That Hooks: Write blogs that answer specific questions, like “How to make a small room look bigger” – stuff people actually want to know. The juicier your content, the more likely others will link back to it, and Google loves that!
4. Backlinks Are Gold: Try guest blogging about design trends on popular home decor sites. It’s like getting a shoutout from the cool kids at school; Google can’t help but notice you!
5. Mobile-Friendly is a Must: Make sure your site is as smooth on a phone as it is on a desktop. Most folks browse on their phones, so if your site’s clunky, they’ll bounce, and so will your rankings.
6. Local Vibes Only: Use local landmarks and hotspots in your keywords. If you’re in Chicago, mention neighborhoods or local art scenes. It’s like dropping a pin on a map – makes it easier for locals to find you.
7. Keep Tabs on Your Stats: Google Search Console isn’t just techy fluff; it’s your backstage pass to how well your site’s doing. Peek at it like you’d check your Insta notifications.

Stick to these tips, and watch your business start climbing to Google’s first page – where you belong!
