Stop jumping on trends and corny TikTok dances if you're trying to grow your business - unless you use them the right way.
You're not building a fanbase—you’re building a customer base. And making cringey, trendy content that says nothing about what you actually do is wasting your time.
Instead focus your efforts on making content that clearly shows how your product or service solves a real problem—do this every single time you show up online.
& Don’t worry about boring people. Because the ones who get bored when you talk about the value you bring, were never going to buy from you anyway.
But you know who won’t be bored? The person actively looking for a solution—your ideal client. That’s who your content should speak to.
So skip the TikTok dances UNLESS you’re using them to deliver real information about what you offer and why it matters.
An example of this could be writing on screen - while you dance or lip sync the latest trending sound - some facts about your product or service. Or shine a light on a popular pain point, share some empathy and then present your business as the best solution.
When you start doing that consistently, the algorithm starts to work for you—showing your content to the right people, not just anybody scrolling for fun.
And heads up, this is a long game. You might not get millions of views overnight. But you’d rather have 5,000 views from qualified leads who might actually buy from you than 1,000,000 from people who will never buy from you.
