In celebration of , we’re excited to spotlight one of our co-founders and current Chairwoman, Elaine Silverstein.

Many may not know that Beber Silverstein Group was founded in 1972 in the midst of the American Feminist Movement by two women, Joyce Beber and Elaine Silverstein. So, how did two mothers in the 70’s come together to form an independently-owned, women-held agency in an industry that was predominantly male dominated at the time? Elaine says it was a combination of “stupidity, blind faith, and the belief that they could do it.” Ignorance truly is bliss sometimes!

With 50 years' experience, Elaine is a pioneer in the advertising world. “The best thing about the advertising/marketing business is that you’re always in 2 businesses: your own and the client's, and you learn from the client’s business,” says Elaine.

Our client made the front page of the today with this amazing story.

Sawsan Ahmed walked the stage at yesterday’s commencement ceremony as the youngest student to ever graduate from Broward College. And if it wasn’t already impressive enough to achieve an associates degree when you would typically be in middle school, Sawsan also finished with a 4.0 GPA and will be starting at UF in January!

Check out this sneak peak of a video we are filming for our client Jackson Health System at the state-of-the-art Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center. In this clip you can see the high-tech ZeroG Gait Trainer in use as it provides support and balance for the patient as they climb the stairs. The system contains sensors that are able to detect any sudden changes in the body’s position and respond by gently lowering the patient, preventing the potential of falling.

They went on to launch national and high-profile campaigns for a wide variety of clients and made a name for themselves as one of the leading advertising agencies in the Southeast. Nearly 50 years later, the agency is now proudly run by Joyce’s daughter, Jennifer Beber.
