Example of an annual catalog I designed for a flight academy where I was the sole graphic designer and art director who lead all print and web initiatives. Designed it from concept to completion and worked directly with the print vendors on the entire process, including various rounds of proofing. Sourced the talent and photographer and art directed the photo shoots for the images used within the catalog and in other marketing materials. Created mood boards for the photographer to ensure creative vision and brand consistency on-set. Applied my retouching capabilities to enhance and refine images.

While working for an aviation company, I redesigned their brand and developed and designed their updated website. I also collaborated with the marketing department and the software engineers to create a pilot training app. I specialized in the user interface/user experience design (UI/UX).

Event advertisement and pages from the 'Buddy Book' I designed for Art Buddies. Along with doing some freelance for them, I've also enjoyed being a creative mentor for this great non-profit organization that empowers hundreds of kids yearly.

I was glad to be able to attend last week's Creative Mornings at Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD). Amanda Zweerink was a great speaker and very inspiring when talking about her many mentors over the years.

It reminded me of my experience mentoring a student with the Design Mentor Program at the University of Minnesota. Very rewarding!

Helped launch Target Circle Week campaign through the Digital Weekly Ad. This ad helped promote the campaign where over 2 million new members were acquired.

I learned a lot of new tips and tricks in Photoshop and Illustrator from attending the Adobe 'Create Now Minneapolis' event at the Walker Arts Center. It was great to connect with other creatives and learn about what's new in Adobe products. Great presentation from these two. I can't wait for the next one! 😀
