This was a fun project! When I create a logo, the final deliverables typically include full-color and one-color (black-and-white) versions in multiple file formats, so the client can use them across all mediums.
Sometimes a logo also calls for a horizontal or type-only variation to add versatility. And while I’d love to continue building out a full identity system and shape the brand, most projects end up being “one and done,” leaving me with little control over how things evolve.
This project was a bit different. Because the Levitt Amp Minot Music Series will involve numerous volunteers and short-term marketing roles, I created a toolbox of graphic assets to support future marketing efforts.
The scale of this music series is significant, so establishing a cohesive look and feel was essential. Whether it’s a contract marketing assistant or a member of the community “hype team,” many future communications will stem from the initial logo design.
As a designer, it’s always challenging to step back from how a client chooses to market themselves after the logo is complete. But by providing a flexible visual system and a robust library of graphic assets, I hope to help this group maintain a cohesive and engaging look moving forward.
If you’ve been following along, you’ve already seen how a variety of the local Levitt team have taken the marketing and graphic distribution reigns beautifully! Social media graphics by one, signage from another, and some awesome merch from the team have already begun rolling out! YAY!!!
That reminds me, I need a T-shirt. 😉
