Our Story

I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and educator. I love people and find great delight in capturing their most precious moments so that they can cherish the memories forever. I became interested in photography several years ago but had to put my dream of becoming a professional photographer on hold during a high-risk pregnancy. I went into preterm labor at 25 weeks, and during what would become the most trying time of my life, I spent 78 days on bed rest in the hospital. My daughter was born prematurely, but healthy at 36.5 weeks. After her birth, I suffered from postpartum depression as I fought to regain my strength and find some semblance of normalcy in a life that had been turned upside down. Then, 3 months after my daughter's birth, I had a hysterectomy due to extensive health issues. Having had my life and the life of my then unborn child hang in the balance changed my perspective. I realized just how fleeting time is. It is important to protect our memories with beautiful photographs, because once time passes, that's what remains to help us remember. My passion for capturing love and life continues to grow as I photograph individuals from all walks of life.
