Big things moving at the Studio...
Many of you know me through Crazy Kudu and the graphic design work I’ve done for the BSA and other organizations over the years. I’m still very much behind the desk there, but I’ve decided it’s time to move my primary focus toward a new frontier: 2D Animation.
Following a private and peaceful trademark settlement with the BSA, I’ve taken it as the perfect opportunity to officially launch Kudu Animation Studio.
This is "Launch 2.0" for me. For the last few months, I’ve been training in the shadows, learning animation and video editing software, and developing "sprints" to master the physics of animation. I just finished Sprint 2 (The Heavy Ball), which marks a major milestone:
1 New Tools: I’m moving away from Adobe and rebuilding the studio's workflow in Tahoma2D.
2 Open Doors: I’m no longer keeping this a "shadow project." I’m inviting you all to see the struggle and the craft behind the scenes.
I’m apprehensive but incredibly excited. I’m committing to 50 sprints before my first major short film, and I’d love to have you along for the ride.
Building dreams, frame by frame.
