Why it is important for a business to be relevant
Fifteen months ago, states and local communities had businesses shut down due to the Coronavirus. What did we learn during this experience?
-Keeping folks close to their home base was essential and many
businesses offered curbside pickup and other options to help folks
stay closer to home
-Delivery was not just for pizza anymore
-Essential businesses facilitated the ease of working from home for
employees where possible
-Governments and other organizations held meetings virtually via
Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other connective systems
Now that many states' numbers of new Coronavirus cases are declining and the number of vaccinations are increasing what do you as a business owner need to do?
-Pay close attention to your customers' buying habits in order to
stay relevant.
-Talk with your customers and ask what other products/services
they are interested in. Some of their comments could help your
business grow.
-Work to strengthen your current customer relationships
immediately
-Analyze what product/service is working as well as what is not
delivering the results you expect
-Become a resilient leader in your product/service category
-Make your business the go-to resource for your customers
