Armed with your own “Treasure Collector,” you’ll search for hidden riches while navigating immersive scenery, special effects, animatronics and a few ghostly encounters with legendary pirate Captain Hippolyte Bouchard and his crew.

Good seafood starts with a healthy ocean. 🐟🌊

This National Seafood Month, we're spotlighting Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust and the people behind our local catch. From supporting fishing communities to making sustainable, locally caught seafood more accessible, Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust is helping keep Monterey Bay's seafood traditions thriving.

Next time you're dining along the coast, ask what's local. Fresh seafood tastes even better when you know where it comes from. 🦀

Wake up. Walk out. Tee off. ⛳️

For , consider this your sign to turn a round of golf into a full Pebble Beach getaway.

Play along the Pacific at the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links or immerse yourself in the terrain of Spyglass Hill. Just across the property the Spanish Bay golf course is undergoing a transformation led by Gil Hanse and will re-open in April. When the last putt drops, trade your golf shoes for a front-row seat to one of the best sunsets on the Monterey Peninsula.

With the fairways just steps from your room, there’s no need to rush home. Stay at The Lodge at Pebble Beach for iconic views overlooking the 18th green, settle into the relaxed coastal atmosphere of The Inn at Spanish Bay, or retreat to a Mediterranean-style hideaway in Casa Palmero.

A bucket-list round deserves a bucket-list weekend. 🌊⛳️

Sometimes the hotel is the whole itinerary. 🔑

Four Monterey County stays have retained their MICHELIN Key distinctions in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide:

🔑🔑🔑 Post Ranch Inn | Big Sur
🔑🔑 Alila Ventana Big Sur | Big Sur
🔑🔑 Bernardus Lodge & Spa | Carmel Valley
🔑 Villa Mara Carmel | Carmel

Clifftop mornings in Big Sur, vineyard views in Carmel Valley, or a tucked-away stay near the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The hardest part may be deciding where to check in.

Save this for the Monterey County trip where check-in is half the fun.

Netflix’s East of Eden comes out today and will leave you curious about Steinbeck’s Salinas Valley, so make a weekend of the places inspired by it. 🌾📚

Start at the National Steinbeck Center and the Steinbeck House, wander Oldtown Salinas and continue through Spreckels before checking into Chateau Coralini, an 1891 Victorian estate where bringing the novel along for a garden-side reread feels almost mandatory.
