Take the time to write meaningful, genuine comments on posts that help you connect with your followers on a personal level. And if they comment on your posts—reply! Add to the conversation, or simply thank them for taking the time to stop by your profile.

And if someone sends you a message, ALWAYS send them one back! Even if you can’t help them with your particular product or service, point them in the right direction. By giving them a positive experience with your company, they’ll come back to you again if they need you!

Overwhelmed? Anxious? Tired? Irritable?

Take a step back from social media. Truly! It’s not the end of the world to take a day or two off from Instagram and Facebook. Instead, take that time to tuck your phone into a drawer and focus on things you enjoy: nature, family, friends, or self care.

While I’ll be the first to tell you how amazing social media is, if you get too invested it will start a spiral of comparison that will lead to unhappiness.
