So I’ve started cold-calling…
This is completely different than what I thought that it would be.
I expected to get yelled at, cursed at, and threatened to be sued. That I could deal with. I developed a tolerance for those reactions from my days at Morgan Stanley.
But mostly what I’ve gotten is…nothing. A lot of talking to voicemail. A lot of numbers on the DNC. A lot of disconnected numbers.
It’s oddly satisfying. I just look at it like I’m getting all of these “no’s” out of the way to find my “yes.”
With that said, it does feel good to start building my
own again.
