We recently helped Calabria Pizzeria complete a full brand refresh with a new site update that helps showcase their two locations.

One of the trickiest parts was changing their domain without losing any SEO progress. With extensive planning, we handled the redirects, updated Google Search Console, and made sure their site traffic and rankings stayed intact throughout the transition.

Launching a website to us isn't just about flipping a switch and calling it a day.

At Adam Wright Design, every website launch goes through a full checklist before we ever call it done, and another one after it goes live.

Before launch, we're testing every link and form, checking how the site holds up on phones and tablets, making sure images are optimized so pages load fast, and confirming the SEO basics are in place so search engines can actually find you. We also double check that your analytics code is implemented and that dreaded "Discourage search engines" box is unchecked.

Once the site is live, we thoroughly review for broken links/images/fonts, make sure the site gets indexed properly, watch for any bugs that show up across different browsers, and test that analytics is functioning (plus so much more).

It's a lot of small things, but that's the AWD difference. That attention to detail is baked into how we do every project, so nothing falls through the cracks.

One of my favorite Google Fonts recently is the sans-serif Hanken Grotesk.

It feels so symmetrical, balanced and evenly-weighted, which my design-eye is drawn to. It can be great for both headings and body copy.

Plus, it's a variable font, meaning it has infinite number of weights to choose from and has a smaller font file to load.
