Today, we remember.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

September 11 reminds us of the importance of coming together, looking out for one another, and carrying forward the spirit of compassion and unity that emerged in the days that followed 25 years ago.

We honor those we lost, those who served, and those who continue to carry their memories forward.

A lot of SEO looks impressive on paper.

More pages. More keywords. More traffic.

But the real question is: is any of it helping someone choose your firm?

Because 1,000 visitors with no intent won’t do much for your firm. The right 100 people actively looking for the help you provide can.

Our Wednesday meetings are a chance to step back from the day-to-day, talk through what’s happening across our clients, and ask a simple question: How can we make this better?

With Q4 right around the corner, we’re also looking ahead. What can we improve? What can we accomplish? And how can we make these last few months of the year count for our team and our clients?

Because this time of year isn’t just about wrapping things up. It’s also a good time to take a look at where your firm stands.

Is your marketing still working for where your firm is today? Is there something you’ve been meaning to update, improve, or finally invest in?

The year isn’t over yet. There’s still time to make some changes and start thinking about what you want your marketing to look like going into 2027.

A full rebrand is not always needed.

Sometimes, the foundation is already there. It just needs to feel more current, more intentional, and more aligned with where the firm is today.

A refreshed logo, updated colors and typography, or a more cohesive visual identity can completely change how a firm shows up without starting from scratch.

Before you throw everything out, take a look at what’s worth keeping.

Visit nomosmarketing.com to see if a refresh is all you need.

Two great minds thinking alike and, apparently, thinking human.

We had a great conversation with Michael, the founder of LEX Reception, about something we both believe strongly in: people still want to connect with people.

AI can make things faster. It can automate, summarize, generate, and streamline. But when someone is looking for a lawyer, calling a law firm, or deciding who to trust with something important, there’s still something different about a real person on the other end.

Making the law more human and keeping it that way.

Here’s to building better technology without losing the human connection that makes it matter.

Your competitors might not be better than you.

They might just be more consistent.

They’re showing up more often. They’re building their reviews. They’re telling their story. They’re creating content. They’re staying visible while you’re waiting for the next case to come in.

And if your firm isn’t #1 in your market right now, that doesn’t mean you’re doing everything wrong.

It might simply mean there’s more work to do.

More authority to build.
More trust to earn.
More of your story to tell.

Marketing isn’t about being better overnight. It’s about building enough consistency and credibility that your ideal clients start seeing you as the obvious choice.

Keep building.

“How long will SEO take?” is probably the first question every law firm asks before signing an SEO contract.

Not because there’s a magic number, but because you want to know what you’re actually paying for and what progress will look like.

For most solo and small firms focused on local search, the first 60–90 days are about building the foundation. Months 4–6 are when traction should start becoming more visible. And a strong SEO program can take 9–12 months to fully compound.

The important part is knowing the difference between activity and progress.

More blog posts don't automatically mean better SEO. Neither does a prettier traffic graph.

You should be able to see what is being built, why it matters, and how it contributes to your firm's visibility over time.

We broke down the full timeline, including what accelerates SEO, what slows it down, and what you should actually be tracking, on the NOMOS Journal.
