This month marks 16 years since I launched Blue Sky Design—what a journey it’s been!

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with more than 75 businesses, each one contributing to the growth and evolution of this small, independent design business. Some have partnered with me for a single project. Others have stayed by my side for 7, 10, even 14 years—and counting.

Those long-term relationships mean the world to me. They’ve brought consistency, creativity, and collaboration into my daily work—and they remind me why I started this in the first place.

To every client, colleague, and supporter along the way: thank you. You’ve helped turn small beginnings into big results, and I’m truly grateful.

Here’s to 16 years of design, trust, and building something meaningful—together.

Wishing the best of luck and an unforgettable experience to all Horry County Schools students performing in "Waves of the Future" at The Carolina Opry this afternoon! Hosted by the Chicora Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach, this outstanding event celebrates student talent while supporting the Fine Arts Department.

This marks my 12th year of putting the program together, and I'm honored to be part of something that uplifts young artists. This year’s program showcases the winning design from the cover art contest, created by a talented local high school student.

The future of the arts is looking bright!

I used to work for Quad many years ago, and I still follow them today because they are such an innovative company. They were ahead of their time when I worked for them in the late 90s. They still are. This is one newsletter they produce, called The Weekly 10, that I really enjoy. It always contains interesting marketing and advertising stats that you can dig into. Check it out!

My little business is Celebrating 15 Years this month! What began as a necessity became a blessing I never imagined possible. I hope to share some memories this month as I reminisce on all the projects I've completed and all the people I've had the pleasure of working with.
