For those of you who do not know this. You can go to office depot online and put in your state and the school and grade and the whole school supply list pops up and you can just click buy now and it gets shipped free to you. That was honestly the cheapest most efficient way I have ever bought school supplies. That was amazing!

Target is doing this too.

You are welcome!

***All CCISD schools are listed, just put in your zip code. That goes the same for Texas City, and La Marque****

A Community Theatre Without a Theatre

Last night, Clear Creek Community Theatre held there 2026 Launch
and judging by the turnout, the community still has plenty of appetite for the arts.

But there’s something important about Clear Creek Community Theatre that many people may not know:

They are a community theatre without a permanent theatre.

For more than 60 years, CCCT has been telling stories, developing local talent and bringing people together through live performance in the Bay Area.

The organization began in 1965, when a group of local creatives started producing plays at Clear Creek High School. Over the years, they performed in a remarkable variety of places, eventually finding a permanent home in Nassau Bay.

For 20 years, that building became a home for actors, volunteers, audiences and generations of Bay Area families.

Then, in 2020, the building was demolished to make way for the expansion of Methodist Hospital.

And once again, Clear Creek Community Theatre became a theatre without a theatre.

Today, CCCT continues to produce shows wherever they can find a stage.

And that matters.

Because the arts aren’t just entertainment.

A community theatre gives people a place to perform.
A place to create.
A place to volunteer.
A place to meet their neighbors.
A place for a child to discover confidence.
A place for adults to discover talents they thought they had left behind.

It gives a community a place to tell its own stories.

Clear Creek Community Theatre has been doing that for six decades.

So how can you help?

🎟️ BUY TICKETS. Come see the shows. Bring a friend. Fill the seats.

Tickets are still on sale for the murder mystery dinner Kemah Gardens!

Much ado about nothing tickets are on sale!!

📣 ADVERTISE IN THE PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS. It’s a great way for local small businesses to support the theatre while putting their business in front of the community.

❤️ DONATE. Even a $20 donation can make a meaningful difference.

📲 LIKE & FOLLOW THEM. Share their posts. Tell your friends. Help more people discover what they’re doing.

Supporting the theatre doesn’t always mean writing a big check.

Sometimes it means buying one ticket.
Sometimes it means sharing one post.
Sometimes it means putting your business name in a program.
Sometimes it means giving $20.

Because when a community shows up for its artists, its artists keep showing up for the community.

And maybe that’s what a community theatre is really about—not the building, but the people who refuse to let the curtain come down.

Because when the arts die in a community, the community loses a little bit of its soul.

Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen here.

As a publisher, there are stories you know will stay with you long after the magazine goes to print. This month’s cover featuring Nikki and Pops is one of those stories—and so much of that is thanks to the incredible talent of Tim Dowler.

Tim has a remarkable gift for capturing more than just an image. He captures emotion, connection, and authenticity. From the cover to every photograph inside, he beautifully preserved a family’s legacy and the spirit of our waterfront community in a way that words alone never could.

Thank you, Tim, for sharing your talent, your professionalism, and your creative eye with Neighbors of Clear Lake. Your work continues to elevate our publication and helps us tell the stories that make this community so special.

It is an honor to work alongside someone who consistently delivers excellence while making every subject feel comfortable and celebrated.

Congratulations on another beautiful feature, and thank you for helping us bring this story to life.
