If the successful experiments thus far to bring advertising to streaming tells us anything, it’s that platforms should be imploring brands to make advertising adaptations that treat audiences like actual audiences. If you want people’s attention, you’re going to have to earn it.

Both platforms and advertisers are experimenting with new ways of getting our attention. Can they find the format that will let users embrace it?
