I also smoke a pipe. Have done so for 51 years now. Smoking a pipe is not like smoking ci******es or ci**rs. Sun Bear taught me about the way that Human Beings (as he referred to his tribe) smoked pipes, and he blessed my Original Pipe, with the wooden stem (Mother) and the red catlinite or pipestone head (Father).

My Dad taught me how to smoke a regular pipe. “If the pipe gets too hot to hold against your nose and cheek,” he said, “then it’s telling you that you’re smoking it wrong.”
