NYCCC will be leading 4 chess workshops in the coming weeks, beginning this Wednesday, October 1st from 4:00-5:00 PM. We would like to thank our dear friends at and Coach Russ Makofsky for donating chess sets and equipment to all our wonderful NYCCC students. Our summer program simply wouldn’t have been possible without their generosity, and we are so grateful for their kind support. We are filled with great excitement for this year, as we strive to continue sharing chess with students in our community.

This past week, NYCCC held its first in-person summer camp. 19 students and 12 mentors joined us for a fun week of chess, new friends, and community.
