If I could change one thing about my first year as an school leader 👩🏾‍🏫, here’s exactly what I would do,

And not only is this what I would do, it’s exactly what what I’ve done for Principals and Assistant Principals in NY, MI, IL, and several other states that allowed them accelerate student growth in just one year 📈!

I know from experience that all the stuff you’re responsible for like bussing and staff professionalism means nothing

❌if the students who are with you for years leave your schools reading, writing, and performing math far below grade level📚,

❌ if our teachers feel unseen, unappreciated, and leave in droves every time theirs a winter or summer break, 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏃🏾‍♂️💨or

❌if you burn yourself out after just 1 or 2 years, constantly stressing out about all the ways you feel like you’re failing at your job😰.

You don’t need to suffer just because this is your first or second year, there IS a way to get yourself on track and ready to improve outcomes for you students and staff before this school year ends ⏱️

So if I could change that one thing, I would INVEST IN INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP COACHING AND COURSES THAT HELPED ME GET RESULTS IN A FRACTION OF THE TOME IT TOOK ME TO FIGURE IT OUT BY MYSELF.

This was an interesting read. I always appreciate when policies and practices are introduced that will promote more equity, AND we have to get more comfortable addressing the root cause RACISM, or it’ll never be eradicated from our schools.

While making up a low percentage of school populations, they made up half of the suspensions.

How can YOU increase your SALES??

Step 1: Advertise your IMPACT. You created a product because you saw a need or you want to solve a problem. Share that story! The more connection and resonance you build around your product, the more clients and buyers you will attract!

Step 2: Advertise to your IDEAL CLIENT! Who is this product for? Make sure THEY set eyes on your product. If you’re already advertising but not seeing an increase in sales, chances are the right audience isn’t seeing your product.

Step 3: Advertise STRATEGICALLY! When advertising, some methods will resonate with your audience more than others. Some ads will lead to more sales than others! Analyzing the impact of your ads will help you replicate what’s working and adjust what’s not!
