it’s gilmore girls season & I’ve got a lesson from Sookie for ya today! ✨

she’s watching Jackson go kinda crazy while entertaining his family at Thanksgiving & she says “look at him! shamelessly catering to his demographic!” 😂

it’s hilarious & also such a good reminder for how we should be using Instagram as a tool to “shamelessly cater to our demographic”

each action we take on this platform should be purposeful and useful for reaching our people! ✨

starting now will help you stay calm and have a plan for reaching your clients at a time when it all gets a little loud. ✨

next steps:
1: decide what platforms or channels you want to focus on.
2: lay out your goals for each one.
3: break the time into segments and assign tasks.
4: create the content and schedule it.

consider you audience and how your product or service fits into the holiday season, along with your time capacity. the more you can plan ahead the better!

june is almost here (hello birthday month for me! 🥳) & that means it’s time for the much needed summer vacations & breaks! but how do you take them as an entrepreneur without worrying about the impact they’ll have on your business?!

✨ first, think about the impact that NOT taking a break would have on you, a being a burnt out founder isn’t giving your business what it needs. 🤍

✨ PLAN AHEAD. with all of the scheduling & automation tools at our disposal, planning out social media posts & emails isn’t as hard as it may seem, & it keeps marketing going while you’re relaxing on the beach, win win if you ask me!

✨ refreshed = new ideas & strategies. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been on vacation & had some of the best ideas for my business, take notes & work on them when you’re back!

a little BTS of how the tipsy bean brand came together! ✨

after looking at the clients Pinterest boards I created a few color palettes to help them imagine different directions & ultimately they went with the dreamy rich green & deep magenta combo.

I wanted to bring out the juxtaposition of bar & cafe by distinguishing the “pink” & the “green” aspects of the brand, so the use the color palette has a deeper meaning & can symbolize which part of the business they are referring to at any time. ✨

next I created several font focused options since we agreed that worked best as their main logo. I incorporated some hand drawn motifs I created just for them.

after choosing their primary logo we went on to submarks and all the little details that make a brand unique & special. 😍

so proud of the final design & all the ways it will be used as they grow! 🤍
