It’s been a long time since I’ve been active on this account; I’ve been busy working for my clients , and I cant think of a better post to start back up with. Sending loads of good vibes and love to this fabulously talented ceramicist and bad ass whom I’ve been stalking for years. We are very new fast friends, but I think this shot encapsulates this is how Heather is feeling about her life right now.
Happy Birthday - I’m glad our paths crossed and can’t wait to see where life takes us next! To your best year yet! 44 looks awesome on you!

Coffee and catching up with an old friend and client about new things.

When Sands at The Bleak House opened over 13 years ago I photographed everything for the website and marketing, they even have my art prints hanging in the bedrooms and restaurant still. Chatting to my old friend this morning about how things have changed and I’m looking forward to potentially help them out again.

Whilst back home in England, I took a weekend break away and headed to Cornwall, but I still couldn’t switch off my work brain completely. I’m naturally a visual storyteller so creating content that’s great for social media luckily comes easy to me. [ and I will be starting to share more of my here too for those who’d like to improve their storytelling and photography skills a little too ]

I love telling the story of a place, like a restaurant, by collecting all the design details, not just the food. Love the typography on the white washed walls of The Cornish Barn at The Artists Residence, and if you check out Instagram you’ll see their breakfast wasn’t too bad either!

Maker Spotlight : Throwback to the time I got to spend time for Etsy with the lovely Alexandra Ferguson photographing her and her employees in her Brooklyn factory. Alexandra‘s company started after a very successful handmade holiday gift in 2008 when she opened her Etsy shop shortly after. Now her eco-friendlyhome goods are sold in over 700 stores and recognized as one of Etsy’s best sellers! I personally love the classic BE NICE OR LEAVE pillow!
