Supporting Infinitus to Introduce AI into Medical Calls, Andreessen Horowitz
According to a person familiar with the situation who asked not to be named in order to protect private information, a startup called Infinitus Systems Inc. raised a fresh round of funding at a valuation of more than $600 million. The company's goal is to use artificial intelligence to improve inefficiencies in the healthcare system.
The deal, headed by Andreessen Horowitz and involving GV, Kleiner Perkins, Coatue Management, and the Memorial Hermann Health System, raised $51.5 million, according to Infinitus. To date, the firm has raised $102.9 million.
