Meet , an embodied brand photographer and creative director who helps people and brands translate who they are into imagery that feels artful, expansive, and deeply personal.

Part visual storyteller and part creative guide, she brings a grounded, intuitive approach to brand photography, shaping visuals that align seamlessly with messaging, content, and the overall brand experience. Her work is rooted in presence and story, creating imagery that feels less like performance and more like truth, guided by light, environment, and the essence of the people she photographs.

When she is not behind the camera or directing a shoot, you will likely find her immersed in nature, noticing light, sharing her tea practice, or spending slow, intentional time in her life and work.

Canyon Collective is rooted in a simple belief: a brand should look the way it sounds. Every image, every word, every touchpoint telling the same story.

We are so happy to have Juliet here with us, helping bring this vision to life.

Follow along to meet the women behind the Collective, each deeply devoted to their craft and to helping other women build brands with clarity, depth, and resonance. 🎞️

✨ Be yourself so your people can find you.

This is a huge part of the work we do with women founders.

It’s not that you don’t know who you are. Most of the women I work with are incredibly well lived. They’ve done the inner work. They’ve transformed themselves, and then transformed again. 🌿

They carry hard-earned wisdom, values, convictions, and stories that shaped them.

The challenge isn’t discovering who you are.

The challenge is creating a container that allows others to see it.

Together, we build the story. We uncover the values, the non-negotiables, the lived experiences, and the perspective that only you can bring. Then we translate it into a brand people can connect with. ✨

Because the goal isn’t to attract everyone.

The goal is to attract your people. The people who align with your values, appreciate your perspective, and are the kinds of people you actually want to spend your time and energy with.

In many ways, building a brand isn’t all that different from creating a dating profile. 💛

You don’t gain anything by appealing to everyone.

You do by being clear enough that the right people recognize you when they find you.

Over the years I have worked with so many founders who tried to build their brand the traditional way ✨
Hire a strategist. Then a photographer. Then a graphic designer. Then a web designer. A marketing agency. A PR person. And try to hold it all together while running your actual business.
It doesn’t work. Multiple partners, huge investment, six different versions of your story floating around. Your creatives working in silos, slowly losing the thread of what makes your brand actually yours.
The message gets unclear. The strategy fragments. The connection with your audience starts to go quiet.
The Collective is what we built to fix this.
Senior strategists, designers, photographers, marketers, PR specialists, and business experts. All collaborative. All invested. All working from the same brand DNA, messaging, and strategy. You get the right experts for the moment you’re in, and the rest stay close.
Every engagement starts with what we call Brand Therapy 🤍 A real excavation of the truth at the center of your brand. Foundational work first. We go deep before we go wide.
Your story is the strategy. We build the container to hold it.

This was my desk six weeks after giving birth. 🤍

I remember sitting there exhausted, emotional, still healing, trying to answer emails and hold everything together without crying.

We talk so much about “kids or career” as if it is some clean, empowered choice every woman gets to make.

But for so many mothers, it is not really a question.

The choice is made for us.

We work because we have to.
We stay because we have to.
We leave because we have to.
We rebuild because we have to.
We become who we need to become because it is not just our own survival.

Motherhood asks women to do what has to be done. Again and again. Without always having the option to choose what feels best, what feels aligned, what feels fair.

And when something does not feel chosen, it can slowly become resentment.

Resentment toward the systems, the patriarchy, the judgement, the pressure, the expectations, the impossible standard that women should somehow carry it all and god forbid complain about it (we should be so lucky!)

What I eventually realized was that it would always feel heavy until I built a business that actually fit the life I wanted to live. Not the other way around. A #

A business that allows me to be present.
A business that honors my creativity instead of draining it.
A business that works with my motherhood instead of constantly asking me to choose. 🌿
A business built around clients who become friends, work that feels meaningful, and a way of making a living that makes me proud.

I know what it feels like to live inside “doing what you have to do.” And the Gen X generation - the ones living in survival mode for the last 20 years - didn’t have many options other than just keep on keeping on.

But now, finally, there are options for women who have to work, who want to work, to build something different. Ways to make a living on our own terms.

And we deserve to imagine them.

You’re tired. And marketing your business is exhausting in a way that makes it more work than feels worth it.
It all looks fine on the outside. The colors work. The captions are ok. The grid is looks professional.
But every time you sit down to post, something feels forced — like you’re posting just to post with no clear intention, or with content that just doesn’t sound like you or isn’t quite what you really want to say.
Over the years I have worked with so many women, including myself, who are feeling this heavy weight when it comes to putting yourself and your business out there. 🤎
Unfortunately most social + marketing agencies or consultants, have a blueprint that they sell. Specific frameworks that they use over and over again.
That’s why it feels heavy. That’s why it sounds polished and somehow still flat.
This is why we start differently. We start with uncovering what makes you, you. What is different about you and what you offer vs. someone else offering something similar. We answer the deeper questions. We re-live your journey to get here. ✨
This is the work we do at Canyon Collective. 🤍

A Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) graduate, she’s worked with brands including The Garland Hotel, Metrolink, and VCA Animal Hospitals, along with local businesses like GARA Skincare, Ojai Coffee Roasters, Sespe Creek Collective, and more. Her work spans visual identity design, web design, print and the many details that shape how a brand feels in the world.

Off duty, you can find Alex hiking around Ojai, spending time with friends and family, hanging with her tortie cat Lotus, or slowly figuring out how to knit a cable-knit sweater.

Curious who we work with? 🌿

Founder-led brands, emerging brands, small business owners, beauty and fashion brands, food and wellness businesses.

Practitioners in wellness, holistic health, massage therapy, physical therapy, and other care-centered fields.

Voices with something meaningful to share, including creators, authors, thought leaders, and people ready to bring their message into the world with more clarity.

Spaces and service providers, including coaches, therapists, retreat leaders, and experience-based brands. ✨

And just because we do a lot does not mean it cannot fit your budget. That is one of the reasons Canyon Collective exists: to bring together the right people, the right strategy, and the right support, so you get what you actually need, and nothing you don’t.
