Our Story

INVNT® was established in the summer of 2008 – at the height of the Great Recession – with the aim of shaking up the live event industry with a new kind of agency model, attitude, agency culture and results-driven approach to live brand storytelling.

Passionate storytellers in their own right, co-founders Scott Cullather and Kristina McCoobery recognized that there was an unmet need in an industry that had begun to feel a bit uninventive. INVNT was thus conceived as a challenger brand in its own right, and its Challenge Everything mantra became a battle cry that was heard by many of the most talented people across the industry (and beyond), who chose to join the INVNT Tribe.

As the self-described ‘challenger agency for challenger brands,’ INVNT quickly became the fastest growing agency in the live event space, with a reputation for game-changing creativity built on strategy, all backed by the best technical and production chops in the business. All of this wouldn’t be possible without our people, who uphold a vibrant culture defined by diversity, rebelliousness, fearlessness, camaraderie, laughter and love.

INVNT always set out to be a global agency working with the best-known and most influential brands and companies in the world. That aspiration continues to inspire us to break new frontiers. The best is yet to come.
