My new side hustle: after doing so many of the “scratch tracks" for Ogilvy pitches, for friends, for my own clients, including a Super Bowl spot, I have decided to make it official. I am now a voice actor for the kind folks at Stewart Talent Agency in NYC. Wish me luck.

A humble newsman who could deliver headlines as poetry. A Dr. Suess of radio and TV news. A long-time host of CBS Sunday Morning, filling the very large shoes of Charles Kuralt. A music man with a classic bowtie. A voice I could never get out of my head for he always struck a chord of beauty and truth each morning on "The Osgood File." A huge inspiration to my own writing career as journalist and copywriter. At 91 years of age, Charles Osgood has left the building. This I know: there will never be anyone like him again. A legend in radio and television news and one of the last great gentlemen of our time. RIP, Charlie. “See ya on the radio.”
