The Edelman Trust Barometer Special Report: Brand Trust and the Coronavirus Pandemic reveals the critical role brands are expected to play in the coronavirus crisis. Here, we answer frequently asked questions about how businesses should approach brand marketing communications during the Covid-19 pandemic.

1. SHOULD WE BE ACTIVELY PROMOTING OUR PRODUCTS/SERVICES?

No. The study shows that consumers expect brands to stop selling to them and start solving the unique challenges of life during a pandemic. There’s also an expectation that brands will use their creativity to make and offer products specifically designed to help with pandemic-related challenges and those with needs on the frontlines.

If you’re going to live, *REALLY* live, you’re going to make some mistakes. You’re going to encounter mishaps. You’re going to meet with misfortune. Misfortune outside of your control.
But...

From where I’m standing, there’s no such thing as mistakes, mishaps, or misfortune. The very notion of these searing 🔥 events produces a reaction that induces fear and conformity. In this state, we tend to dishonor our intuition as our inner voice becomes quiet, and we choose the safe path.
Our is one of ever-learning, evolving and growing. I put it to you that there is nothing else going on but this miraculous self-realizing process. Life is expressing itself through the entirety of form in the Universe - through you, through your soul.
Whilst we will create things in this process, fail, succeed, get knocked down, these are the effects of the miraculous weave of life simply expressing itself. It is the natural process of life seeking higher harmonies.
I propose there is only ever one mistake, mishap, misfortune that can occur. That is to do something, to have an experience, to not meet with success, and to *NOT* learn or grow from it.

In the event you are unaware, this is hardly Vicky’s first speaking engagement on this topic.
Sometimes we don’t seek out causes. Sometimes causes find us.
As a seasoned philanthropist and activist Vicky is no stranger to such speaking engagements. But I’d like you to please note the end of the clip and her reference to; “low risk individuals.”
Chris’s death was a preventable tragedy. But he is, sadly, gone. Vicky and her partners are fighting for all of us.
If you follow me you’ve heard me speak of Big Pharma before. The epidemic of which Vicky speaks is tied to the greed and complete disregard of Big Pharma. Doctor’s are sold to and incentivized. They are stocked with samples. They are not educated on the drug the very attractive young female Pharma rep walked into their office to sell them.
THIS MEANS YOUR BEST DEFENSE IS SELF EDUCATION.
Many if you have likely heard of Benzodiazapines or “Benzos”. The most popular one likely being Xanax. Klonopin also commonly prescribed. (Chris’s prescriptions are not relevant to the point.)
These are highly addictive medications. I’ve been on a low dose of Klonopin myself for 15+ years. Last summer I was pulled off the drug without weening And rushes to the ER within 48 hours.
This is an epidemic created by ignorance, greed, and people who do NOT care about you.
YOU NEED TO CARE ABOUT YOU.
As a Rock Journalist who actively blogs about on Insta I have most purposefully stayed away from this topic. I’m often asked what my “opinion” is. I’ve only ever had one answer:
