Some days are harder than others.
The hardest part of being a father isn’t providing, protecting, or sacrificing. It’s not being able to see your children, hear their voices, or know how their day went. Wondering if they’re safe, happy, healthy, and smiling can weigh heavily on a father’s heart.
As a father, I carry that feeling every single day.
I don’t miss the noise, the mess, or the chaos. I miss them. I miss the hugs, the laughs, the conversations, and even the little moments most people take for granted.
Growing up, life forced me to learn lessons the hard way. I experienced struggles, hardships, and obstacles that made me grow up before my time. That’s why all I’ve ever wanted for my children is a life filled with more opportunities, more love, and fewer battles than the ones I had to face.
My children have always known me as a cool dad. The dad who supports their dreams, encourages them to be themselves, and shows up whenever they need him. Everything I’ve built, everything I’ve fought for, and everything I continue to pursue is because of them.
I’m blessed to be the father of 7 amazing children, and every one of them carries a piece of my heart.
They are my motivation.
They are my purpose.
They are my heartbeat.
Sometimes life doesn’t unfold the way we planned. Sometimes good fathers find themselves separated from the very people they love most. But one thing that will never change is my love for my children.
Distance doesn’t change it.
Time doesn’t change it.
Circumstances don’t change it.
To my kids:
Daddy loves you more than words could ever explain. No matter where life takes us, never forget that you are the greatest blessing I have ever received. Every day I continue pushing forward is because of you.
One day you’ll understand how much you mean to me.
Until then, I’ll keep loving you, praying for you, and believing in you from wherever I stand.
