S’Well Public Relations Launches to Provide Communications Services for $3.7 Trillion Wellness Economy
Kim Marshall, Spa & Lifestyle Public Relations Pioneer and Darlene Fiske, Luxury Hospitality & Wellness Experts Create Specialty PR Firm
Los Angeles, CA (June 2018) – Two public relations and branding powerhouses in the spa and wellness field have joined forces to create a new communications firm specializing in the $3.7 trillion global wellness economy. S’Well Public Relations created the tagline of “The Original Wellness Storytellers” to underscore the fact that wellness brands now have an agency to turn to that is helmed by executive level professionals with arguably the most extensive background in health and wellness of anyone in the communications field.
Campaigns led by content creation trailblazers, Kim Marshall and Darlene Fiske, will strategically position wellness products and services through informed storytelling via multi-channel platforms, data driven outreach and influencer vetting. Grounded in PR and branding, the new agency’s work will ensure that their wellness-oriented clients have a presence in the ever-shifting media and consumer communication landscape.
With long-established lifestyle agencies of their own – The Marshall Plan and The Fiske Group – still busy serving clients, why launch a subsidiary company to specialize in wellness? The answer: passion and potential. Not only do they both share a passion for healthy living – Marshall as an avid hiker and environmentalist (who’s also never met a stranger) and Fiske as a runner and Korean Scrub Ju**ie (who’s also a shoe monger), and both as spa lovers – but they are also responding to an obvious need in the marketplace.
According to Susie Ellis, the CEO of the Global Wellness Summit (GWS) and the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), “Every industry wants a piece of the wellness pie, from spas and hotels to robots and hi-tech gadgets. Our research shows that the growth trajectory of the wellness industry appears unstoppable.”
This ever-widening field includes: mindfulness apps, activity trackers, athleisure fashion, sleep tracking beds, juice cleanses, clean makeup, and so much more. In fact, GWI breaks the Global Wellness Economy into a range of categories including: Beauty & Anti-Aging, Wellness Tourism, Fitness & Mind Body, Healthy Eating, Nutrition & Weight Loss, the Spa Industry, Preventive & Personalized Medicine, Workplace Wellness, Wellness Real Estate and more. And they each need their story told in a way that sets them apart from the competition.
Having joined forces to launch Turnberry Isle Miami’s new âme Spa & Wellness Collective in 2017, Marshall & Fiske’s new S’Well PR’s debut client will be Blu Spas Inc, a spa design company which was recognized as one of Hospitality Design magazine’s Top 19 Innovators in the World.
“This is a no brainer,” explains Tammy Pahel, a consultant who has opened 14 different spas around the country over the past 25 years. “I worked with both Kim and Darlene in launching a complex new spa concept at Turnberry Isle Miami Resort last year, and as I tell all my clients, without experts like them to craft your product’s story and tell it to the right people, you simply won’t see your wellness product reach its full potential.”
The agency’s services will include:
· Strategic Visioning Sessions – Dynamic exercises that uncover your Unique Selling Points; get key stakeholder buy-in and Create a Road Map for Success.
· Creative Storytelling – Applying industry insights to the Zeitgeist to Communicate Brand Values
· Public Relations – Press Kit Development, Reputation Management & Media Placement
