After decades of being invited by its founder Michael Stusser I made it to Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary in Occidental, CA to experience its beautiful Zen garden setting and its famous cedar enzyme baths. So fun to have one of my high school pals meet me there and “soak in the cedar” together. We even made it to the nearby farmers market for a taste of local life and a chance meeting w another spa friend!

I had a chance to work with Gloria Steinem at a conference i did PR for in the Bay Area when I first started The Marshall Plan. She was so open and calm and collaborative. I never knew anyone who just wanted to listen and hear people’s voices. Everyone felt welcome to share. I love that she said everyone has a talent to share and one person might not be able to accomplish a grand idea but together we can. I saw her a year later at a book signing she did and she was just as kind and welcoming to me. What a trailblazer who reached beyond her beauty and used her intellect to be unforgettable. Jennifer Walsh, Walk with Walsh ~ TV, Author, Speaker I am sooo jealous you were able to attend one of her recent Talking Circles — in her beloved brownstone??

What can we learn from an icon? So much it turns out — if it’s country music legend and rags to riches songwriter and performer, Dolly Parton She was nominated for more than 50 Grammy Awards, 10 of which she won, along with being recognized for lifetime achievement by the Recording Academy in 2011.was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001, and was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2005. In 2022, she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. BUT she knew best how to “remember the little guy” sweetly demand the respect women deserve and use her success for good. She also established the Imagination Library, a philanthropic endeavor through which more than 200 million books have been distributed to babies and young children.
